SHIPPING POLICY

  1. All Orders above ₹799/- (Indian Rupees Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine only) shall be eligible for Free Delivery within India for select pin codes. Such amount of order is further subject to the billing value or sub-total order value after discount.
  2. Orders are generally dispatched within 12 working   hours of order placement with an estimated delivery timeline of 10 to 15 working days from the date of dispatch.
  3. The delivery timeline may vary depending on the delivery partner and location.
  4. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase. Please ensure the shipping address provided avoids any delivery delays or misplacements. We will not be held responsible for any loss or mis delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.
  5. Our international delivery partner, DHL/FedEx might not deliver orders on weekends.
  6. In certain states/cities/zones, local authorities, state or municipal agencies may levy an additional amount as entry fee. Additionally, Customs Department in Italy, Costa-Rica and Czech Republic may have begun charging an additional amount as custom clearance fee.
  7. We strive to ensure such shipments are delivered timely, subject to the additional charge either in the form octroi, local inward taxes and levies or custom clearance fees as applicable will have to be borne by the customer at actuals.
  8. Please note that we are not responsible for any customs clearance delays or additional charges incurred during the importation of your order.
  9. We strive to ensure timely delivery. However, certain circumstances beyond our control may cause shipment delays or exceptions. These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather conditions, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or unforeseen incidents. Any known delays or exceptions under our control shall be communicated and resolved promptly.
  10. In the rare event that your shipment is lost or damaged during transit, please contact our customer support team immediately at + 91 97020 24236 We shall endeavour co-ordinate with the concerned shipping carrier to investigate the matter and, if necessary and possible, initiate a claim process. Please note that the resolution of lost or damaged shipments may take time, and we appreciate your patience throughout the process.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations:

Any and all cancellations will only be entertained if we receive a request on email at cs@chadotea.in from you within 15 mins of placing the order or before your order has been dispatched, whichever is earlier.

Note: Pre-paid orders are not eligible for a refund on cancellation. In case you wish to modify or cancel a prepaid order, a credit voucher equivalent to the amount will be issued which you can use against future orders.

 

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY:

  1.        In general, an item may be eligible for return within the period of 48 (Forty Eight) hours (or as per the period mentioned specifically for that product on the website) if it fulfils one or more of the following conditions:

(i). Was delivered in a physically damaged condition;

(ii). Has missing items; and/or

(iii). Is different from what was ordered.

(iv) Product was expired upon receipt.

  1.    An item shall not be eligible for return in event of any of the following conditions:

(i). It is marked as “non-returnable”;

(ii). It is no longer needed by the customer;

(iii.) It is an already exchanged item;

(iv). The order was wrongly placed due to the customer’s mistake;

(v). The customer does not like any aspect of the item ordered; or(vi). If the item has been opened.

  1.        In general, any service offerings are eligible for refund upon cancellation within the period of 48 (Forty Eight) hours (or as per the period mentioned specifically for that product on the website) from such order purchase.
  2. All items shall be returned in their original condition, in the original manufacturer’s box/packaging as delivered to the purchaser by the Company to the Company within 5 (Five) working days from the authorisation of the Company.
  3.    We shall not be liable in any manner for any misuse or usage of any information, in case of any electronic device returned with such information.
  4.        The item shall be returned by selection of an option to deliver at Company’s address. Customers can communicate refund or return issues via Company’s WhatsApp chat. The item shall be delivered by the customer within 5 (Five) working days from approval of the request for return.  The Customer shall bear the costs/charges for such reverse shipping.
  5.        If the customer has paid for the order using bank account/credit card/debit card, then the refunded amount gets credited to his/her bank/credit card account within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of pick-up/receipt of the returned item.
  6.    The customer’s refund is subject to quality check for application of the above stated exceptions or at the discretion of the Company.
  7. If you haven’t received a refund, please check your bank account again before contacting your credit card company. It may take longer at times before your refund is officially posted. In event, you have still not received the refund and it has been more than 15 days, please contact us at accounts@chadotea.in

Note: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, items on sale/ discount cannot be refunded or exchanged.
