One of our most popular Gaiwans. Gaiwans were invented during the Ming Dynasty, these lidded bowls without handle double up as a preparation vessel as well as a drinking and consuming vessel. Compact enough to be held and comfortably pour with one hand. The lid has traditionally been used to block the tea leaves for ease in consumption or to be decanted and poured into another vessel/ container. Contains 3 parts. Bowl, Lid and the a saucer.
